I used the same pattern for this apron as the one above dated in the 50's. I pieced this apron together using the same material. This was a bit of a challenge but I was so pleased the way to turned out. I think you'll like it too.
The apron's straps cross in the back with a tie at the waist. It has two nice big pockets in the front.

This apron was made from a vintage pattern dated 1921. It said it was for the 'stout' woman :-) The waistline is dropped a bit and the line of the apron is straight. The apron goes over your head, ties in the back with one pocket on the front trimmed in purple bias tape and lace. The material is a pretty purple flower with purple bias tape all around and purple lace around the neckline and top sides.
